I’m Yoora,

Art, Makeup, and cosmetics are very personal to me because I enjoy doing it a lot and whenever I feel down or insecure, makeup would help me feel better and it was my way of expressing myself and having the freedom to be able to try out different looks and play with makeup was always something that brought me joy. I began using makeup when I was very young. I would go through my mother's makeup bags and put on whatever I could find and that interest slowly developed into me trying different colors and using different palettes. I was also always very intrigued by the ways that art can combine and contrast different colors. Colors are one of the few things we can all relate to and see the world in different ways. Understanding colors and the impact they have on a person will be very useful in the future for me as I would like to go into the design industry. Color is such an important aspect of the world that brings a bit more meaning and life into an otherwise dull experience.
